Wilmington Trust Held Out Longer Than Most
Fitch Ratings has lowered Wilmington Trust’s Long-Term Issuer Default Rating one notch to “A”. Wilmington Trust (WL) recently reported a fourth quarter loss of $68.5 million, or $1.02 a share, compared with year-earlier net income of $44 million, or 65 cents per share.
According to Dow Jones,
Fitch maintains a negative ratings outlook on the company, saying it sees potential for further write-downs of its investment portfolio and more deterioration of its loan portfolio.
