Wilmington Trust Wealth Advisory Executives Receive Industry Recognition
Wilmington Trust announced that two executives in its Wealth Advisory Services business have received national recognition for service and performance in the wealth management industry.
Richard W. Nenno, Esquire, managing director and trust counsel, has been selected for the Distinguished Accredited Estate Planner award and designation from The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). The recognition is in honor of Mr. Nenno’s distinguished service to the field of estate planning and will be presented at NAEPC’s 44th annual conference in New Orleans on November 16, 2007.
Mr. Nenno has advised high-net-worth individuals and families throughout the United States and abroad for Wilmington Trust for the past 25 years. He writes and speaks nationally on estate planning and personal trust topics, and frequently provides expert commentary to the national media. Mr. Nenno is the author of Delaware Dynasty Trusts, Total-Return Trusts, and Asset-Protection Trusts (Thomson/West, 2007) and is a member of several associations of legal and estate planning professionals. He holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
Neil E. Wolfson, CFA®, and president of Wilmington Trust Investment Management, was named as one of Institutional Investor’s 20 Rising Stars in Wealth Management. Those chosen were age 45 or younger and have demonstrated career consistency, a commitment to the wealth management industry, and were identified as industry leaders, according to the news organization.
Mr. Wolfson is a member of Wilmington Trust’s Investment Strategy Team, which determines strategic and tactical asset allocation recommendations for high-net-worth clients and approves nonaffiliated investment managers for client portfolios. He also serves as CEO and president of the Wilmington Funds. Mr. Wolfson is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from New York University. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute, and regularly provides investment market commentary for several media outlets, including CNBC-TV. Mr. Wolfson joined Wilmington Trust in 2004.
