Wilmington Riverfront to pay off (sooner or later)
The riverfront revival project may soon be ready to turn a corner. In fact, according to projections from an economic impact study by the Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware (RDC), it may even pay for itself within the next 6 years.
The study, which was conducted by the University of Delaware‘s Center for Applied Demography and Survey Research, has also concluded that the state can expect to break even on its riverfront investment by 2013, assuming a further $5 million in public investment.
