UPPER CHESAPEAKE HEALTH OPENS NEW KAUFMAN CANCER CENTER IN BEL AIR

A healing oasis awaits patients and their families at the new Kaufman Cancer Center. The center has been designed as an upscale hospitality oriented oasis complete with image recovery center, healing garden and alternative medicine, incorporating state-of-the-art care. The entire facility was designed around a garden theme: color, texture, sound, pathways and shape. The interior architecture, designed by Mitchell Associates of Wilmington, Delaware, includes textured stone, accent lighting, soft colors, organic shapes, comfortable yet functional furniture, and artwork commissioned by local Maryland artists.
