University of Phoenix Delaware Campus Donates More than 400 School Supplies to Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware
University of Phoenix Delaware Campus announced that it has collected more than 400 school supplies on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware. These supplies are vitally important in ensuring that children have the tools they need to remain successful and engaged in school.
“Too many kids are falling behind in school and oftentimes this is not due to a lack of ability, but to the lack of access to both basic tools, such as notebooks and pens, and to a safe place to go in the after-school hours,” said Rachel Kane, Executive Director, Clarence Fraim Boys & Girls Club. “Thanks to the generous support of University of Phoenix with this school supplies donation, our students are receiving the tools and attention they need to succeed in school and their future.”
In addition to the Back to School Drive, University of Phoenix has made a $1,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware.
“University of Phoenix strives to break down barriers to education,” said Tim Gilrain, University of Phoenix Delaware Campus Director. “Nationwide our campuses supply volunteers, in-kind donations and monetary contributions to the Clubs to make sure they have the support they need to serve the kids to the best of their ability.”
