The League of Women Voters Delaware (LWVDE) updates VOTE411.org website for the upcoming elections
What’s the 411 on Voting in 2014?
DOVER – The League of Women Voters Delaware (LWVDE) has announced this year’s VOTE411.org website is updated for the upcoming elections.
LWVDE members have contacted state and local candidates, asking that they once again fill out our easy online form to share information with voters about who they are and where they stand on the issues. The Leagues have worked with this system since 2010 and it is a most comprehensive online utility for voters. VOTE411 is consistent with the League’s mission to educate voters on the candidates and issues.
Enter your address to find your polling place and build your ballot with the online voters’ guide. With this online tool, you can see the races on your ballot, compare candidates’ positions side-by-side, and print out a “ballot” indicating your preferences as a reminder that you can take along with you to the polls on Election Day. VOTE411 resources for military and overseas voters include federal and state absentee voting, election officials’ directory and a voter help desk.
VOTE411.org encourages anyone having Election Day problems to call one of these hotlines: 1-866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683); 1-888-VE-Y-VOTA (en Español); or 1-866-MYVOTE1 (866-698-6831).
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
