The Delaware Small Business Development Center

One of the things that I like to do in this blog is provide Delaware businesses and entrepreneurs with all kinds of resources that they can use to help them succeed. One of those resources is an organization called The Delaware Small Business Development Center.

I mentioned the DSBDC in a post earlier this week, but I didn’t tell you what they were all about.

    Mission:

The DSBDC exists to strengthen Delaware’s economic base by providing quality services, such as, management assistance, education programs, and resources to Delaware’s business community and potential entrepreneurs.

  • In addition, there are special programs for businesses interested in government contracts and technology based companies:

  • Procurement Technical Assistance Center
    • Delaware PTAC can help identify and bid on contracts with federal, state and local governments and prime contractors.
  • Delaware Technology Assistance Program
    • DETAP advisors provide counseling and information in both management and technology, to sharpen the focus and accelerate the development of technology-based small businesses.
