Wow, this is a great and a special Award “The Minority Small Business Person of the Year’.

Thanks to Small Business Administration, Delaware Office. Special Thanks to Director, Jayne Armstrong for reaching small business owners like me and helping us in government contracting, training and arranging networking events, meeting with major prime contractors.

We have truly benefited by being in the 8(a) program and has broadened contracting opportunities in federal and commercial sector.

The e200 and 7(j) programs that are sponsored by SBA was a great success for Ram Tech Systems. The e200 program connected us to PA Convention Center, City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Airport and Lockheed. It also connected us to Africa and am so proud to say that we are doing International business.

I applaud the hard work of the SBA and its officers.

A big Thank you to our Business Development specialist Gedell Hawkins for all the help especially with the leads, guidance in the contracting and connecting us with contracting officers or agencies, when necessary.

Thanks to my family, RTSI employees, SBA, EO Philadelphia -Forum # 1 members, PTAC (Juanita Beauford), SBDC (Carla Withers, Wendy Wen), NMSDC, and OMWBE (Jay Burks) and to all my business and personal friends for helping me in various ways for making me the that person – Minority Small Business Person of the Year.
