The Delaware Emerging Technology Center Entrepreneurial Boot Camp and Business Plan Competition are a one-day, intensive day of learning, followed by an exciting business plan competition. A three month process, the Boot Camp is designed to help studentpreneurs, very early stage businesses, emerging technology businesses and entrepreneurs and innovators take their ideas to the next level. At the Boot Camp, participants will hear a number of inspiring presentations and entrepreneurially based skills such as how to develop a powerful executive summary, how to design an effective investor presentation, and the elements of an effective business plan and much, much more! The selection process for attendance at the Boot Camp and Business Plan Competition is competitive. It will be limited to a maximum of 25 participants. Those selected will have the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with experienced business executives and entrepreneurs and be awarded cash for success at the culminating event…The Business Plan Competition.
Pre-Boot Camp Selection Process
The due date for submission of your three (3) page (max) business idea or concept to be considered for selection for the Spring 2011 Delaware ETC Entrepreneurial Boot Camp and Business Plan Competition by 4:00 p.m. on March 4, 2011. Pre- Boot Camp Meet and Greet
A Pre- Boot Camp Meet and Greet for the Selected Boot Camp Participants will take place on Thursday, March 10, 2011, 4 to 6p.m. at the Bank of America Building, Room 309 at Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware. The Meet and Greet will be a time for all Boot Camp selectees, presenters and Entrepreneurial Boot Camp Committee members to meet and greet one another prior to the Boot Camp Intensive Day of Learning session. There will be a short program and light Hor’s d’ouveres and beverages will be available.
