Second Annual Governor’s Entrepreneurial Business Conference
The Delaware Economic Development Office and the Delaware Emerging Technology Center will present the second annual Governor’s Entrepreneurial Business Conference on Friday, June 4 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. The conference will offer entrepreneurs, investors, and companies a broad range of networking opportunities, informational workshops.
The goal of the conference is to bring people together for a day of sharing valuable insight on current topics including the status of the former Chrysler and Valero facilities, new entrepreneurship tools, critical business resources and emerging opportunities.
Featured speakers and presenters include leaders from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Delaware Small Business Administration, the University of Delaware and Petroplus Corporation. Additionally, participants will also hear from entrepreneurs, information technology experts, angel and venture inventors, marketing specialists and educators. Through “Ignite Style” presentations, social media experts will focus on: management and business planning, securing capital investments, and social media promotion. The discussions have been designed to meet the needs of entrepreneurs at all phases of business development including planning, startup and growth.
