Regional Business Leaders to Explore New Horizons in Region’s Transportation

Nearly 300 business leaders will gather at the Chamber’s State of the Region: New Horizons in Transportation to discover how transportation development is creating jobs, growing the economy, and enabling Greater Philadelphia to meet increased demand. U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will discuss President Obama’s vision for transportation infrastructure in the 21st century, and Albrecht Engel, Vice President, High Speed Rail Division, Amtrak, will explore opportunities to develop high speed rail along the Northeast Corridor. Tracey Matisak from WHYY will lead the discussion.

In addition, Select Greater Philadelphia’s President & CEO, Thomas G. Morr, will release their 6th annual Regional Report, which identifies key developments in the Greater Philadelphia region.
