Open Invitation for the University of Delaware’s Lerner College Student/Employer Speed Networking Event

The Lerner College Career Services office will be hosting a student/employer speed networking event on Tuesday, October 16 and would love to have you participate in this face-paced, interactive activity. The event provides students with an opportunity to practice and enhance their networking/communication skills. Much like speed dating, each student will sit across the table and interact with the employer for five minutes before moving to the next employer.

Speed Networking for Business majors

Date: Tuesday, October 16, 2012
Time: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Location: Trabant Multi-Purpose Rooms, University of Delaware

Light food and beverages will be served before and after the event.

This is a great opportunity for companies to meet with graduating undergrad & MBA students in a low-key environment.

Sample questions will be provided for students to use to stimulate conversation. Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback to students on their communication and networking skills. If you are available and would like to spend a couple of hours sharing career information with students, while interacting with other professionals, please reply by October 12, 2012. We hope that you will be able to be a part of this unique event.
