New Castle Relocation Firm Named Delaware 2013 SBA Family-Owned Business of the Year

The Small Business Administration’s Delaware District Office announces fourth-generation family-owned Hopkins & Sons, Inc. as the winner of the 2013 “Delaware Family-Owned Business of the Year.” Acting District Director John Fleming will present the award on May 13, 2013 at 10 a.m.

The SBA’s Delaware Family-Owned Business of the Year award winner is selected annually as part of the SBA’s National Small Business Week awards competition. Hopkins & Sons, Inc. was by Mark A. Pitrizzi, Vice President, Hopkins & Sons, Inc.

Hopkins & Sons, Inc. will be honored along with other Delaware District Small Business Week winners at a local awards event on May 21 leading up to the National celebration week to be observed June 17-21. National Small Business Week recognizes the small business community’s contribution to the economy culminating with the announcement of the National Small Business Person of the Year.
