Morris Nichols’ Business Reorganization and Restructuring Group has been named a finalist for the 10th Annual M&A Advisor Awards in the Turnaround Deal of the Year and Consumer and Retail Products categories (up to $250 million). The Group was selected for its efforts in the sale of Townsends, Inc., among the nation’s largest poultry processors, to Peco Foods, Inc. and Omtron, Ltd. Morris Nichols partner Derek Abbott headed the team that served as Debtor’s counsel to Townsends, Inc.
Award winners will be announced at the 10th Annual M&A Advisor Awards Gala, Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the New York Athletic Club in New York City.
