More Forecasting Work in Delaware
On February 5th, the New Castle County Economic Development Council will present its 2nd Annual Economic Forecast event beginning at Noon at the University and Whist Club in Wilmington. Formulating and presenting this year’s forecast will be John Stapleford.
John is a senior economist at Moody’s Economy.com. He focuses on urban and regional economic analysis and conceptual frameworks. He is a professor emeritus of economic development at Eastern University and former director of the University of Delaware’s Bureau of Economic Research. He has a Ph.D. in urban and regional economics from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree from the University of Southern Illinois.
The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce is also putting together a panel of local business experts to react to Mr. Stapleford’s forecast and offer their own opinions as well.
