6th Wilmington Diversity Job Fair The Diversity Job Fair on September 21, 2007, attracted 30 recruiters from various industries and 700 job seekers. “The number of job seekers was smaller this year, but the quality of the applicant made up for the difference in numbers,” said Jorge Echavarria, the LACC job developer. “They were well dressed and well prepared to speak with recruiters, and almost all had resumes in hand.” Thank you to LACC staff who volunteered as translators at the job fair, included Maria Diaz, Ana Figueras, Chastity Galarza, Edgar Martinez and Marco Ramos.
