      MENTOR AT THE LACC Would you like to make a difference in a child’s life? Become a HOSTS mentor. What is HOSTS? Help One Student To Succeed Language Arts Program is nationally recognized as an approach to academic success. Each student meets with a mentor for one hour. Activities include reading, vocabulary, and comprehension games. No preparing tutoring lessons or materials — just bring yourself. We provide all activities and materials needed for every session.
