The Hispanic Student Recognition Program (HSRP) College Fair & Award Ceremony 152 outstanding Hispanic middle and high school students from throughout Delaware will be recognized on April 24, 2010, at Clayton Hall Conference Center, University of Delaware, Newark. Secretary of Education Dr. Lillian Lowery was one of the Selection Committee who interviewed New Castle County students March 27. President of Kutztown University F. Javier Cevallos will be the Keynote Speaker at the Awards Ceremony April 24, and 12 regional colleges will exhibit at the College Fair. Identity Theft Workshops for Seniors Thanks to a grant from Wachovia Foundation, the LACC offers workshops on preventing identity theft for seniors and their caregivers. Workshops are in English and Spanish. Contact Keyla Rodriguez, (302) 655-7338, Ext. 7746, Email: krodriguez@thelatincenter.org.
Community Legal Aid is seeking Fair Housing Testers, who will be paid a $50-65 stipend and reimbursed for mileage, tolls and postage. Contact Linda at 302-575-0060, Ext. 259.
