The Adult Education Program received a 2006 Certificate of Program Excellence from the Department of Adult Education in recognition of excellent program delivery and student achievement of learning outcomes. Contact cmarshall@thelatincenter.org.
Mucho Gusto The LACC is fortunate in its support from the community. The Jessie Ball du Pont Foundation and Christ Church Christiana Hundred provided start-up funds for a Family Mental Health Program. Ms. Adrienne Arsht also donated a start-up grant for the new program, which will open by the end of 2007. The Longwood Foundation, the Welfare Foundations and the Crystal Trust have provided capital grants for building maintenance, including a new roof for the 301 Harrison Street, which will house the new Mental Health Program. The Chichester du Pont Foundation and the Laffey-McHugh Foundation generously support LACC mentoring programs. By helping agencies like the LACC serve the community, these philanthropists make Delaware an excellent place for everyone to live and work.
