Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) Seminar in Delaware
What are Incoterms and what do they mean for your business?
Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) is a set of standard trade terms developed by the International Chamber of Commerce. Use of the incorrect Incoterms will prove terribly expensive if there are issues with the cargo, you’ll end up incurring costs that could have been avoided. Correct use of Incoterms goes a long way to providing the legal certainty upon which mutual confidence between business partners must be based. The goal of Incoterms is to alleviate or reduce confusion over interpretations of shipping terms by outlining exactly who is obligated to take control of and/or insure goods at a particular point in the shipping process.
Topics to be covered in this seminar include:
• Complete review of the 2010 Inco terms
• Changes from 2000 vs. 2010
