Google to offer an electronic-payment service
People use PayPal because it is convenient and easy.
Wasn’t it just a matter of time until Google made a move to get in on the action?

Yahoo also seems to want in on some of this action, from what I see of a patent application made public by them last week, which focuses on “Systems and methods for implementing person-to-person money exchange.”
I like the description of the Yahoo system, which is an attempt to limit the amount of confidential information that is being passed around ton the web.
