Global Marketplace Program Volunteers Needed- Junior Achievement
JA Delaware Launches Global Marketplace Program to Prepare Middle School Students for the Global Economy
Junior Achievement of Delaware, Inc. received a $10,000 seed grant from the Good Samaritan Foundation to launch JA’s newest middle school program – the Global Marketplace – this spring. The World Trade Center Delaware and the Delaware Development Office are collaborating on this important resource to local social studies classes throughout our area.
During the 2006-07 school year, Junior Achievement of Delaware will need 70 volunteers from the business community with expertise in the Global Marketplace. This will allow 1600 students to learn this important topic.
To volunteer to work in a JA Global Marketplace classroom or to learn more, contact Kenny Majusiak at 302-654-4510 or email info@jadel.org.
