First State Innovation Venture Showcase
There is still time to register for the upcoming fall Venture Showcase in Delaware!
The keynote speaker will be Steve Tang, President and CEO of the University Science Center. The event will also include presentations from three Delaware-based emerging companies.
The three presenting companies are:
o FlowPay, based in Wilmington DE, is the leading mobile payment service for faith-based organization and launched their service early in 2012.
o Kurbi Health, based in Wilmington DE, is a breakthrough web application that helps people living with chronic disease more easily communicate the daily challenges of their symptoms to care-providers between scheduled visits.
o Legacy Distilling, based in Smyrna DE, is meeting the demand for locally hand-crafted spirits and is planning to launch in the Spring of 2013.
In response to the devastation created by hurricane Sandy, First State Innovation will donating all of the $20 ticket fees to the American Red Cross to help the victims of this terrible storm.
