Executive Care is aiming to expand its presence in Delaware
There is truly a need for more home care here in this state and across the nation. As Baby Boomers age (10,000+ turn 65 every day) and cannot take care of elderly parents, the need for everything from basic caregiving to 24/7 skilled nursing becomes more urgent. Especially for senior citizens who would rather stay in their home instead of transition to assisted living or a nursing home.
Executive Care offers services that help families often overwhelmed with the responsibility of providing care to a loved one — all while ensuring the patient remains in the comfort of his or her own home. In a crowded sector, the company has built a reputation from the ground up in New Jersey and is initiating plans to take its commitment to Delaware The company projects 10 to 12 franchise office openings across the state, which could bring as many as 500 jobs to the region and fill a growing demand for homecare and skilled nursing services.
“We are vetting our inaugural franchisee candidates and are eager to bring more home care opportunities to Delaware in the months ahead,” says Lenny Verkhoglaz, co-founder of the company. Lenny operates Executive Care alongside his wife and co-founder Mila Feldman. The two of them had a transformative experience a decade ago on Valentine’s Day caring for an elderly neighbor in need, which ultimately led to the creation of their unique home care company in 2004.
