Energize Delaware Business/NonProfit Efficiency Rebate Program to End

A news release today detailed how businesses and nonprofits received rebates totaling nearly $1 million for a range of energy efficiency projects that included a white reflective roof and insulation at the Christiana Mall, LED lights in the Community Service Building parking garage, motion sensor lighting at Mt. Cuba Center horticultural institution, upgraded lighting and efficient kitchen equipment at the Wilmington Blue Rocks stadium, a solar-powered water heater, solar panel array, LED lights, and more efficient exhaust fan motors at Pats Pizza in Dover, lighting, heating and cooling and insulation at World Cafe Live at the Queen Theater and more.

Business owners may still take advantage of the Efficiency Plus Business financing program for loans available at a 1.99% interest rate. For more information, contact 1-877-624-4448 (Option 3) or energizedelaware@saic.com.

The Energize Delaware Efficiency Plus program for businesses and nonprofits is made possible through federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding and is supported by Delaware’s Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC).
