Delaware Technology Park sponsors ISE Event
How would you like an up-close look at the new Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Laboratory (ISE Lab) at the University of Delaware? Opened in October, 2013, the ISE Lab brings together students and faculty from various disciplines to teach, learn and conduct research in a collaborative environment. The laboratories and classrooms are designed for interdisciplinary topics, and they integrate teaching, learning and research, with the research providing curriculum content.
Vice Provost for Research Charlie Riordan will provide an introduction to the ISE Lab, the UD vision for the lab, and all the labs offer for the future of science and technology. He will also detail opportunities for the business community to collaborate with researchers and research facilities at the ISE lab, which include an imaging and microscopy suite, a 10,000 square foot nano fabrication facility, and an advanced materials characterization lab.
The evening will culminate with tours of select laboratories and classrooms at the ISE Lab. Don’t miss this great opportunity to see how science is effecting the next generation. To learn more register now!
