Delaware Restaurant Association Elects New Officers
Maybe your favorite local eatery is represented. The work of administering an organization of this or any type larger than two requires the dedication of committed individuals. These people have stepped up to support the Delaware Restaurant Association.
This year’s Chairman of the Board is Dennis Forbes from Cool Springs Fish Bar and Restaurant in Dover. The association’s Vice-Chairperson is Betsy LeRoy from Pizza by Elizabeths in Greenville, and DRA Treasurer is Ryan German from Caffe Gelato in Newark.
There are 1900 foodservice establishments in Delaware and the industry supports over 40,000 jobs in the State.
Every $1 spent in Delaware’s restaurants generates an additional $.80 in sales for Delaware’s economy.
Each additional $1 million spent in Delaware’s eating-and-drinking places generates an additional 22.1 jobs in Delaware.
