Delaware Ranks 6th in State New Economy Index published by Site Selection Magazine
In the January edition of Site Selection magazine, an article titled “State of the States,” ranks Delaware as #6 among the list of 50. The ranking, call the the “2010 State New Economy Index” released in November, was based on research by the Information Innovation Foundation and the Kauffman Foundation. The index is based on 26 indicators including percentage of private sector employment, manufacturing value-added, export focus on manufacturing and services, industry investment in research and development and median hourly wage.
