W. L. (Bill) Gore Award of Excellence
The Delaware Quality Award in honor of W. L. (Bill) Gore recognizes Delaware businesses or organizations that demonstrate high levels of performance excellence. This top-level Delaware Quality Award is named for Bill Gore in honor of the visionary direction he gave his company regarding excellence, innovation, and working environment. A Gore Award recipient must display outstanding performance and be a role model in most of the seven Criteria categories of the award.
Delaware Quality Award of Merit
The Delaware Quality Award of Merit recognizes companies and organizations that demonstrate significant progress in their approach and deployment of quality systems. Although overall results may lack maturity, the Merit Award recipients are role models within Delaware in several of the seven Criteria categories.
