Delaware Launches Affordable Entrepreneurial Training Program
This is great news for Delaware’s entrepreneur community!
The Delaware Economic Development Office will introduce the state’s only FastTrac entrepreneurial training program next month to help entrepreneurs hone the skills they need to create, manage and grow successful businesses in Delaware. Applications are now available for the first 5-week series, to begin Monday, Sept. 12.
Developed by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, FastTrac, the nation’s leading entrepreneurial education program, provides practical, hands-on business development training to participants. The program is offered by DEDO’s Certified Kauffman FastTrac Affiliate, the Delaware Emerging Technology Center. DEDO will make two course tracks available for the first series:
FastTrac® NewVentureSM is written by entrepreneurs for aspiring entrepreneurs. Course modules will focus on developing a business concept that will help participants build new start-ups. Classes will be held twice a week, each Tuesday and Thursday, from noon to 4 p.m. in Wilmington. Certified facilitators for FastTrac NewVenture include:

FastTrac® GrowthVentureSM will help existing entrepreneurs sharpen their strategic thinking skills as they plan to grow and build sustainable businesses. Classes will be held twice a week, each Monday and Thursday, from 5 to 9 p.m. in Wilmington. Certified facilitators for FastTrac GrowthVenture include:

The value of each course is $800 per person, but all qualified registrants will receive an automatic scholarship reducing the tuition to $250 per person. The tuition is reimbursable, minus a $50 administration fee, upon successful completion of the program. Each successful participant will receive a certificate of completion from Kauffman FastTrac.
