Delaware LAN Meeting at the Hollywood Grill on Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE
At this quarterly meeting, Raymond Lee, founder and CEO of Careerminds, will share with us his journey from HR leader to entrepreneur. If you’ve ever thought of starting your own company, the first question is probably, where do I start? Raymond will describe the key components to building a successful company such as writing a business plan, branding yourself, defining your target market and more.
There will also be a focus on networking. On June 8th, Philadelphia Human Resource Planning Society ( PHRPS ) hosted a business networking meeting. It was a great opportunity to reconnect and make new connections. People often tell me that they are uncomfortable networking, don’t like it, don’t do it, don’t know how, or don’t know anyone. Some associate networking with job search and not as a key component of an overall career management strategy.
o Share your networking tips – what’s worked well for you?
