Delaware Humanities Funder Offers Grant Application Writing Workshop
The Delaware Humanities Forum (DHF), which provides financial support for public humanities programs in Delaware, is hosting a grant application writing workshop and invites staff and volunteers of nonprofit agencies to attend.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity for organizations of all sizes. DHF’s Application Review Committee and staff will explain DHF’s current grant programs and help participants explore the possibilities of partnering with DHF to strengthen the humanities content (for example History, Literature, Ethics, Languages, Political Science, Comparative Religion) within their own programs. The presenters will share tips for preparing a well-written DHF grant application. Attendees are advised to become familiar with the definition of “the humanities” prior to the workshop and to envision how the humanities fit within their existing programs; the workshop is tailored specifically to those seeking funding for humanities programming in Delaware (not to those seeking humanitarian aid or desiring to learn how to write grant applications in general).
