County Chamber Launches Business Incubator Program
Good news for Delaware entrepreneurs!
The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, along with its New Castle County Economic Development Council, has announced the opening of the Emerging Enterprise Center, a business incubator program. The 10,000 square foot facility is housed at the headquarters of the County Chamber which is located in Corporate Commons in New Castle and is now accepting applications.
Along with providing start-up companies a home and shared access to meeting and conference facilities, office equipment and IT infrastructure, the Emerging Enterprise Center will offer business startup education programs, formal opportunities to establish business connections and professional business counseling and mentoring programs.
The Emerging Enterprise Center is committed to the long term economic vitality and growth of entrepreneurial ventures in New Castle County. An intention to remain in the county will be one of several qualifiers used to determine whether a start up company is accepted into the program.
Start-up companies wishing to learn more about becoming part of the Emerging Enterprise Center program should contact Bob Chadwick, Director of Economic Development for the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce.
