Certified Nursing Assistant – Tues. and Thurs., March 4-May 17, 5-10 p.m. ($1,8950. Learn to safely perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a healthcare facility.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with Electronic Health Records – Mon. through Fri., Feb. 3-April 4, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. ($2,295).Clinical and administrative duties are covered. Tuition includes textbooks, CCMA certification exam, E.H.R certification exam blood pressure cuff, stethoscope and BLS certification
CPR with First Aid – Sat., Feb. 22 or Sat., March 15, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. ($79 either series). Learn to recognize emergencies and give first aid while learning about medical and environmental emergencies and injuries. (Recertification required every two years.)
Pharmacy Technician – Mon. and Weds., Feb. 17-April 2, 5-10 p.m. ($1,595). Learn about one of today’s fastest growing healthcare fields. Prepare for a career in hospital, community, mail order or other types of pharmacies. Tuition includes: textbooks, certification exam and lab coat.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers– Wed.; Feb. 19, March 5; 4-8 p.m., ($79 any class). Recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use and AED, and relieve choking. You must be in the healthcare field, a police officer, or other allied health professional to attend this course.
Personal Trainer – Sat., Feb. 1-March 8, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. ($499). Prepare for the ACE Personal Trainer Certification Exam. Learn a system for designing programs based on clients’ unique health and fitness goals. Tuition includes textbook and study package.
Childcare & Child Education
Training in Early Childhood Education (TECE II) – Mon. and Weds., March 3-April 16, 6:30-9:30 p.m. ($299). Build on knowledge from TECE I. Develop strategies for working with young children. Topics include curriculum, play, language development, special needs and at-risk children, among others.

A concentrated hands-on approach that covers basic command sets and skills required for creating production drawings. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with hand drafting and design required.

Basic Home Repair – Mon. and Tues., Feb. 3-18 or March 30-18, 6-8 p.m. ($179). Learn how to do home repairs and improvements that can save hundreds or thousands of dollars by learning a few simple skills. Lessons include Q&A sessions and will indicate when a professional should be called in.
Defensive Driving :Basic – Sat., Feb. 22 or March 22, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. ($35). Participants earn a guaranteed 10 percent reduction on the liability portion of their automobile insurance premium for three years as well as a 3-point credit applied toward their Delaware driving record.
(Green Thumb Series) Composting 101 – Sat., March 8, 9 a.m. – noon. ($49). Green gardeners will learn how to get started composting, materials to use and not use, how to maintain the pile and how to use finished compost.
Babysitting Certification – Mon., Feb. 17, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. ($55). For youths ages 11 and older, this course teaches how to be safe and nurturing babysitters. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a printable certificate.
Bourbon, Whiskey, & Rye – Thurs., March 13, 6-9 p.m. ($49). Styles of whiskey, proper use of glass and water, how to sniff and taste, and how to pair with food are some of the topics covered.
Better Photos – Sat., Feb. 22, 9 a.m. – noon. ($59) Understand what builds a great photograph, the digital photo process from shooting to editing, and sharing and printing your photos.
SAT Test Prep – Mon., 2/3-2/24, 5:30-8:30 p.m. ($139). This course is designed as a review to assist high school students to prepare for the English and Mathematics portions of the SAT college entrance exam. Textbook included.
