Combined Campaign for Justice Honors Donors and Volunteers; Raises $1.3 Million for Legal Aid to Low Income Families
Delaware’s Combined Campaign for Justice 2012 announced at its recognition ceremony on Wednesday that it raised $1.3 million dollars in support of Delaware’s three legal aid agencies it supports: Community Legal Aid Society of Delaware, Delaware Volunteer Legal Services and Legal Services Corporation of Delaware. The event honored 2012 donors and volunteers.
The following firms were presented awards for 100% Participation: Bifferato LLC, Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, Heckler & Frabizzio, P.A., Murphy & Landon, Parkowski Guerke & Swayze, P.A., and Rosenthal Monhait & Goddess, P.A.
Recognized for special fundraising efforts were Prickett Jones & Elliott, P.A., Kurt A. Fetzer, Delaware Lawyers Musicals, and the Delaware State Bar Insurance Services, Inc.
“We could not have achieved this success without the incredible support from 2012 donors and volunteers,” said outgoing Combined Campaign for Justice chair, Karen Jacobs Louden. “Low-income families continue to struggle to make ends meet even as our economy shows signs of improvement. Legal aid improves their lives by helping them find remedies for these difficulties. The legal needs for low income families are more acute than ever and the 2013 campaign is anxious to start this year in a positive way and exceed last year’s goals,” she added.
