Christiana Hospital Focus of WSJ Story
The electronic tracking of patients, doctors and nurses is the subject of a lengthy article in todays WSJ (subscription).
It is nice to see a Delaware facility on the forefront of electronic innovation in health care. The tracking system was installed in 2004, long before the latest technology cooperative agreements were signed with The University of Delaware, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children and Thomas Jefferson University. This kind of cooperative effort, and a willingness to explore innovative solutions to long standing problems will serve the people of Delaware well.
