Aetna Returning to Small Business Market in Delaware
The Insurance and Financial Advisor is reporting that Aetna (AET) will be returning to the small business market in December. Aetna took over the contract to provide health care benefits to State employees from Coventry Health Care of Delaware in 2007 and maintains a service center in Dover that employs 348 people.
According to IFA,
When it left the Delaware small-group market, the company was struggling. Since that time, it has improved its product line, distribution model and marketing approaches.
