2013 July Jobs Report
• The unemployment rate fell from 7.6 percent in June to 7.4 percent in July
• 162,000 jobs were added over the month
• The unemployment rate for college-degreed workers 25 and older edged down slightly to 3.8 percent (from 3.9 percent).
• Temporary help services gained 7,700 jobs over the month.
• Retail added 47,000 jobs, and financial and business services added 36,000 jobs. Financial activities employment increased by 15,000 in July
